The class participants were additionally able to learn the specific features of WMS-class systems used in warehouse logistics. The QGUAR WMS system served as the basis for creating a model warehouse topology and an analysis of the most common warehouse process optimization models and typical system applications. The Faculty of Management at AGH University of Science and Technology has launched postgraduate studies in “Management of Logistic Systems” as a response to the requirements of current graduates, who will soon have to face the increasingly important role of logistics within companies. Logistic management, as well cost identification and reduction in this scope have become so important, that it is impossible to build an effective market advantage without these. Therefore, the permanent training and honing the skills of the graduates is so important. |

This year the cooperation with AGH University of Science and Technology took the form of classes conducted by the Quantum software consultants in the summer semester, devoted to the management of logistic systems. The lectures included issues related to warehouse logistic processes, the automatic identification of goods, the circulation of warehouse documents and the application of modern technologies within the Supply Chain Execution.
