| The success of each project is fully dependent on the involvement of the system provider and the customer in the implementation efforts. Our systems support different logistics procedures – in many cases, very specific for the given enterprise. If the implemented system is to meet the customer’s requirements and bring about the expected benefits, all works should be commenced with the development of an appropriate design. At the very beginning of the works, Quantum software offers the development of the Technical Specification of Implementation, aiming to track accurately all cycles and procedures, as well as collect the precise requirements for the specific solution. |

The document developed as an effect of such works includes:
- sorganizational structure of the company and material flows
- description of all logistic processes to be supported by the system
- detailed requirements for the implemented system
- types of necessary documents, reports and statistics
- rules for the data exchange with other systems (interfaces)
- application of auxiliary devices (e.g. for automatic identification)
- full description of planned system operation after the implementation
- IT aspects of the system
- customer-specific solutions, with the feasibility of their execution
- detailed schedule of all implementation phases
The design document has been developed by our experts, together with the customer’s representatives, so the final design is acceptable for both parties and will enable the system implementation in the most quick and efficient manner possible. The detailed analysis of the entire work before it is commenced allows a precise operating model for the implemented system to be drawn up. With some of our products we use a simplified design form – Installation Parameters Specification, used to collect the customer’s requirements in view of the parameterization of standard versions of our systems. The implementation design, except for the very information about the specific solution, has an additional advantage, as its development requires a detailed analysis of all the elements of the logistics chain, which enables the users to verify their needs and plan the future system development in a better way. |
