Quantum’s response to such a need is Qguar MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Qguar MES allows for the quick and effective modeling of manufacturing processes and collecting data about their progress. The ability of integration with external systems (ERP, SCADA, other logistics systems) allows products, components and raw materials to be tracked in each stage of their lifecycle within the plant; starting from the order acceptance through manufacturing up to shipment to the recipient. The information collected on the manufacturing process, support the management based on “Lean Manufacturing” principles. The system also supports quality standards, such as HACCP, IFS, SIX SIGMA etc. Definable reports offer a full insight into the process taking place in the manufacturing area with different levels of detail – from shift foremen up to plant managers.

Purpose
Qguar MES is a tool for supporting the operation of a manufacturing plant of custom complexity. It is dedicated for plants, where it is necessary to accurately measure the manufacturing costs and the productiveness of staff and equipment. Collecting information on the manufacturing process supports the management based on “Lean Manufacturing” principles, i.e. eliminates waste and thus minimizes the costs. It is also recommended for plants, which use quality maintenance systems, such as HACCP, IFS, SIX SIGMA. The system collects information on production process and propagates it according to defined authorizations, enabling the management to make decisions and offering the sense of security for manufacturing employees by means of access to readable and personalized information about tasks scheduled for execution.
